Where to start in Finland and Sweden

This guide makes the next step more local without booking appointments or replacing public healthcare advice.

Start in Finland

Finnish current-care patient guidance says treatment can usually be started by a general practitioner or occupational-health doctor. Laboratory or imaging tests are not usually needed as a starting point for typical symptom-led care unless there are other gynaecological symptoms or reasons to investigate.

Start in Sweden

If you live in Sweden, start with a healthcare centre. If you are unsure where to go, call 1177 for advice. If Swedish is not your first language, ask about interpreter support early.

What to bring

Bring your symptom summary, list of medicines and supplements, questions, and a note of what you have already tried. For vaginal or urinary symptoms, be specific. For bleeding changes, include timing and how the pattern changed.

What this site can and cannot do locally

This site can help you prepare language, questions, and a one-page summary. It cannot book appointments, triage urgent symptoms, prescribe treatment, or replace public healthcare guidance.
